Dan Murphy is a licensed New Hampshire fishing guide with over 25 years of experience fishing the state's lakes and rivers. Dan has spent decades learning the seasonal patterns, structure, and behavior of smallmouth and largemouth bass in New Hampshire’s most productive waters. What started as a personal passion has evolved into a deep well of knowledge that he now shares with others through guided fishing trips that are fun, educational, and rewarding.

Dan’s fishing background isn’t just recreational—he’s competed at a high level, including in club tournaments, NH Bass Nation events, and even the national Bassmaster Opens. His competitive experience sharpened his skills and gave him a tactical approach to locating and catching fish in varying conditions. These same techniques, paired with his friendly personality, make Dan a trusted guide for both serious anglers and first-timers looking to learn.

Based in Epping, NH, Dan guides trips across the state’s top freshwater fishing destinations, including Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake, Newfound Lake, Pawtuckaway, Bow Lake, and Ossipee Lake, where he also has a family camp. He’s patient with beginners, great with kids, and especially enjoys helping others land their first—or biggest—bass.
